Conference Hotel—The Franklin Marriott Cool Springs, just 20 minutes south of Nashville, offers wireless internet, a full fitness center, indoor pool, coffee bar, lounge, and restaurant. Call 888.403.6772 and tell them you are with the Midwives Alliance. The special room rate is $119 per night (for one or four people). Within walking distance are restaurants, shopping, and historical sites.

Driving Directions—From I-65: Take exit 68-A to Cool Springs Blvd East. The hotel is located on the left corner at the first stop light. From Nashville Int’l Airport: Take I-40 West to I-24 E to I-440 West to I-65 South (toward Huntsville); follow about 13 miles; take exit 68-A to Cool Springs Blvd East. Additional Hotel Space—Because our room block at the conference hotel is almost filled, we have arranged additional room blocks at the Marriott Courtyard Franklin Cool Springs for the same conference rate! Call the hotel at 615.778.0080 and ask for the Midwives Alliance NA group block.

Airport Shuttle Update—Super Shuttle recently closed their service to middle Tennessee! However, MANA has reached an agreement with Jarmon Transportation to shuttle our registrants from the airport to the hotel for $30 one way. Please call them at 615-275-0146 to make your reservation. And, Cool Springs Limo has offered us a Marriott shuttle rate of $30 per person (includes tip) plus tax. Click here to book your shuttle on their web site. Make sure you enter the Midwives Alliance into the Group Code space on the registration form to get that rate.

Roommates—To be matched with a roommate, contact Debbie Schneider at mariettamidwife@earthlink.net. Please let her know when you will be attending, how many roommates you desire, and your name, address, phone, and e-mail address.

Continuing Education—CEUs are expected to be offered for most of the conference sessions through MEAC and ACNM. You must pay the CEU fee of $30 with your registration to receive the CEU packet when you check-in.

Food! Food! Food!—Conference tuition covers breakfast and lunch; dinner is on your own.

Refunds—A $50 processing fee will be retained for cancellations before September 15. Cancellations after September 15 will be subject to the $50 fee plus meal costs.

Student Rate—A special conference rate of $315 is offered for students. To qualify, you must be a MANA member (or join concurrently with registration), and be actively involved in an apprenticeship with a practicing midwife or be attending a midwifery school. A letter from your preceptor or school stating this relationship must be included with your registration.
